The following are the three Intergovernmental Organisations that Malta is a national member of:

European Union Intellectual Property Office

The EUIPO is the official European Union agency responsible for registering trademarks and designs that are valid in all 28 countries of the EU. Visit their website at: https://euipo.europa.eu​​.

European Patent Office

The EPO provides a uniform application procedure for individual inventors and companies seeking patent protection in up to 38 European countries. Visit their website at: www.epo.org.

World Intellectual Property Organization

The WIPO is a specialised agency of the United Nations. It is dedicated to developing a balanced and accessible international intellectual property (IP) system, which rewards creativity, stimulates innovation and contributes to economic development while safeguarding the public interest.
