Malta Intellectual Property Awards 2020

The ceremony was held on the 4th of December to reward the winners of the 11th edition of the annual initiative organised by the Commerce Department, which is part of the Ministry for the Economy and Industry. This initiative is the "Malta Intellectual Property Awards 2020".

The Malta Intellectual Property Awards are aimed at promoting the creation of Intellectual Property in Malta and recognizes both innovative projects originating from people who are fairly new in their field and of those made by people of experience in the creative, scientific and technological sector.

This year around €50,000 was distributed in prizes. It is gratifying, particularly given the circumstances in which we are living, that for this edition we had a record number of applications with high-level projects with a range of initiatives in the field of health, engineering , digital arts, culture and arts, medical research and technology education.
